The Community Fund

SSE and Coillte are proud to have contributed over €8.3 million in funding since 2008 to communities close to our wind farms in Ireland. This funding has been able to assist more than 2,743 local projects, focused primarily on sustainability, energy efficiency and safety initiatives. The Community Fund is paid out annually, starting one year after the windfarm starts producing electricity.
